International Children's Day at the Department of Pediatric Neurosurgery

Every year on June 1 the International Children Day, there is a joyful atmosphere and festive bustle in the Department of Pediatric Neurosurgery. And this year is no exception. The head of the department Dr. Gabit Olenbay, as well as the doctors and staff of the department walked around the wards with armfuls of bright balloons and toys and congratulated our little patients.

Unfortunately, this year, on the eve of the holiday, the department was in quarantine and it was not possible to hold a large and fun entertainment program, but the doctors of the department were able to give the children pleasant impressions and smiles.

Currently, 23 children from all regions of our country are being treated in the Department of Pediatric Neurosurgery. The youngest is just over 10 months old, and the oldest is 16 years old. These are children with a wide variety of complex pathologies of the central nervous system.

The National Center for Neurosurgery congratulates all children on the holiday and wishes good health and a happy childhood to every child.
